.what am I'm doing wrong ?her teacher sounds like she is such a troubled child and at home shes not like that.I really don't want her to be the child always in the corner at school or not participating in activities because she's not listening or following directions at school PLEASE HELP!!!
Answer: Dear Marie,
First of all she is FOUR years old. If her teacher sounds like she is a "troubled child" then maybe the teacher is having the problem. If you are concerned about her ask her doctor to see if they think there is anything. I think she prefers you over the teacher!
Maybe what you could do is set up a reward system for her each day when she does something just the way the teacher asks her to do. It may provide motivation for her to listen more closely when the teacher is talking. Sometimes children may not like the teacher. That is okay however they have to learn how to function with people they do not like. Work with her howver if you determine there is something go on with the teacher then it is time to request she be changed to another classroom.
