Why Sign Language


Parents and caregivers can use the basic signs for eating, comforting, and toileting with infants as young as 9 months old to forge a bridge of communication. Repetition of sign language support the development of verbal skills to decrease the frustration toddlers often experience because they cannot speak the they see or hear in their young undeveloped brains.
