Subject: order teeth occour?

Question: Yes, my son got his first tooth when he was 4 months old. He got his bottom two front first. He then got his top front two. The the teeth on each side of the front ones. Then the rest just came however. My daughter however got her first tooth when she was 3 1/2 months. She has both of her bottom two now and she is 6 months.

Today I thought I saw another tooth on the bottom right beside her right front bottom. Sure enough it was another tooth. It has barely broke through the skin but it is there.

My question is most of the time babies will get there front bottom, then the front top two, then the ones beside the front. My daughter now has three on bottom and none on the top. Is there going to be something wrong with her top teeth or is this normal. Sorry it my be a goofy question but I was just wondering. Thanks so much.

Answer: Dear Bridget,

You are worrying too much. Relax and enjoy this baby before he grows up quickly.

Check out some great reads for you and your baby I have posted on my blog. Look for the menu link, "Recommended Readings," then find the widget for Babies.

Enjoy!
